I would like to take this time to welcome you to our website and to the Young Marine program. The Young Marines is a nationally based youth program for boys and girls ages 8 through the completion of high school. The program is rooted in the military traditions of discipline, leadership, and teamwork. These are the founding principles behind the Razorback Young Marines. As the Commanding Officer of the Razorback unit I personally see that these values are instilled and upheld by all Razorback Young Marines. The unit uses a multitude of resources to encourage, educate, and inspire our Young Marines. Community Service, First Aid, Field Skills, and Close Order Drill are just a few of the many activities that keep our Young Marines focused and continually develop them into leaders and upstanding role models for other youth. It is my hope that a Razorback Young Marine will positively impact the life of another youth. It is by teaching and inspiring today's youth that we develop the upstanding leaders of tomorrow. 

 

In the Razorback Young Marines it is our mission to positively affect all the youth that we come into contact with. Through education, support, and dedication to the program we strive to accomplish this mission. Discipline, Leadership, and Teamwork are our fuel and our purpose.
